RECONDITIONING :
Dalwin Welt engages application of modern welding technologies for the repair and reconditioning of ship engine parts.
We carry out Plasma Arc Method to ensure high efficiency, quality & flawless deposition avoiding any distortion in the product. This method ensures best deposition and wide variety mixing of welding metals with local application of high temperature. In addition to that application of robotics and high precision
instrumentation bring out a high quality, flawless repaired products.
This technology solves a lot of welding problems encountered for reconditioning of marine machinery parts.
We recondition a wide range of marine machinery parts
like :
- piston crown
- liner
- cylinder head
- exhaust v/v and housing
- crankshaft
- marine pump shafts and housings.
Reconditioning process of piston includes cleaning, fault detection, pre-machining, submerged built-up welding with Chromium and Molybdenum, stress relieving, machining, chrome plating, final grinding, dimension test & final pressure test and class approval(if required by customer).
Reconditioning of liner includes inspection, measurements, honing, dimensional control and rust prevention and deliver ready to use.
Reconditioning of exhaust valves and seats includes cleaning, fault detection, premachining, build-up welding, final machining, dimension control as per maker’s instruction, crack detection. We deposit stellite or nimonic materials as the case may be by tig or plasma arc (HVOF) as per suitability and if required with a sub layer of stainless steel. Reconditioning of exhaust valve housing includes cleaning, fault detection, premachining, build-up welding, final machining & dimension/quality
control. All the weldings are carried out by class certified welders.
We deliver best rebuilt marine crankshafts.
We carry out reconditioning with metalize system and newly rebuild crankshafts with metal spray by HVOF.
For all marine pump shafts, piston rods, shaft bearing journals, valve spindle stems, compressor crankshafts, purifier shafts, pump shafts and motor rotor shafts, and similar components are built up for better corrosion résistance. with a nickel sub layer with hard Chrome Plating to extend component life
