We take up jobs of crankshaft grinding & line boring on all major makes of main and auxiliary marine diesel engines. We can completely dismantle & build up engines as per maker’s instruction.
We can overhaul second hand diesel gen. engines of almost all major manufacturer’s in our workshop, deliver you on board, install in place and provide you trial.
Through constant liaison with manufacturers we take up jobs on 2-stroke and 4-stroke marine main engines & auxiliary engines on AMC & job to job basis and carry out maintenance as per planned schedule by maker on the basis of running hours, e.g. at 4000hrs, 8000hrs, 12000hrs, 16000hrs,etc.&update you with reports.
Cylinder head overhauls. Reconditioning of valve seat with special grinding equipment. We carry out overhaul of exhaust v/v and housing and reconditioning to the dimension as per maker’s limit.
Piston inspection/overhaul/measurement as per maker’s instruction. Necessary reconditioning can be carried out with specialized welding and machining.
Liner measurement, reconditioning, prepare for ready to use and deliver on board.
Connecting rod inspection/measurement and reconditioning with special grinding machines.
Complete overhaul and renewal of parts of fuel injection equipments. Adjustment of fuel timing of major engine makers.
Timing adjustment of marine main engine lubricators.
Replacement of main bearing/crankpin bearing/small end bearings/ camshaft bearing/thrust bearing/intermediate bearing of main propeller shaft. Measurement of all bearing clearances as per maker’s data and deliver condition report.
Overhaul of starting air valves, main starting airline v/v, indicatorv/vs, pressure and temperature control valves etc.
Overhaul of all attached pumps on generator/main engine (4 stroke engines) e.g. cooling pump, lube oil pumps, fuel oil booster pumps and deliver ready-to- use with necessary change of spare with condition report.
Inspection of vibration dampers and renewal of pads, damaged parts.
Overhaul of on board hydraulic jacks and hyd. pumps, renewal of spares and deliver with ready to use.
Repair of main engine reduction gear & bearing, gear drive and chain drive.
